Prolific project meeting in Kaliningrad

The latest project meeting was held in Kaliningrad from the 24th to the 27th of February. The Russian winter welcomed the participants, ideal conditions to spend the time indoors, discussing about the joint online tools of the oceanographic museums in the South Baltic region. The Museum of the World Ocean which hosted the meeting at their premises and the other partners worked especially on the joint online portal.

The common design as well as the information structure were agreed upon. Developed by the team of the University of Szczecin the partners were very satisfied with the status reached so far for this platform. The team even presented a special kids' section that will enthuse children and adults alike. As for the development for an online ticketing system the team of the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences has presented the research conducted so far. Both from a technical but also an economic point of view available systems were examined. The next step within this component are in-depth meetings at the different museums to finalize the overview of demands and local conditions to approve a joint strategy.
