Workshop in Stralsund followed by benchmark visit in Berlin
The 17 and 18 of May the BalticMuseums 2.0 project group worked on last issues for the Online Information Plattform www.balticmuseums.net and the planned ticketing system. The meeting in Stralsund was also used to work on the new project BalticMuseums 2.0 Plus. The focus is currently dedicated to the purchasing decision that needs to be taken on short notice.

The museum partners will choose the technical devices to implement the eGuide system in their locations. Technical and economical analysis were undertaken, however, to ease this decision an excursion to four museums in Berlin was organized on May 19. The solutions chosen by the museums in Berlin were discussed and the representatives at Berlin Dome, the Jewish Museum, the Museum of Communication and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe gave a lot of insights to their experiences with eGuide-systems. Thanks to all the museums for receiving our team and to share the experiences!
