Successful evening programme for Steering Committee in Stralsund
The Steering and Monitoring Committee of the South Baltic Programme held its meeting on 6 October 2011 in Stralsund, Germany. As a great start of the meeting, the local contact point in Rostock and the BalticMuseums project partners in Stralsund, jointly organised a very special evening programme. The Committee members were invited to an individual tour in the OZEANEUM, the European Museums of the Year 2010. Marketing manager Jens Oulwiger presented the highlights of the exhibition, before the participants were invited for a dinner next to the impressive "Open Atlantic" tank. This biggest basin has a holding capacity of 2.6 million liter of water. The extraordinary location created the best atmosphere for the presentation of the BalticMuseums project, providing examples of POIs (Point of interests) directly next to the table. The participants enjoyed this live project demonstration a lot.
